NATO says it is ready to strengthen Russia's deterrence

The heads of state and government of NATO confirmed their readiness for dialogue with Russia and for strengthening its deterrence. This was stated on Monday by the Secretary-General of the alliance Jens Stoltenberg at a press conference following the NATO summit in Brussels.

“Our with Russia are at the lowest level since the Cold War. Moscow’s aggressive actions affect our security. We reaffirm our approach — deterrence, and dialogue. We are ready to conduct a dialogue, but at the same time to restrain,” he said.
