Boxer Mike Tyson was heavier than Roy Jones Jr. before the exhibition bout.
During the weighing procedure of former world champions, the scale under Tyson showed 99.97 kilograms, the weight of Jones Jr. was 95.25 kilograms.
The bout will be held on November 28 in California. Earlier it became known that 54-year-old Tyson and 51-year-old Jones will be banned from knocking each other. The fight will consist of eight rounds, each of which will last only two minutes. There will be no referee in the ring. Thus, in the exhibition fight, the winner will not be announced.
Tyson has not conducted fights since 2005. He has 58 fights on his account, 50 of them he won. Jones last entered the ring in 2018. During his career, he has achieved 66 victories (47 — by KO), nine fights lost.
