French President Emmanuel Macron has been vaccinated against the coronavirus. He announced this on his Twitter account on Monday, May 31.
The French leader wrote that he was vaccinated, and added:
“Like Brigitte (Macron’s wife) and I, like 25 million French people already, let’s get vaccinated! To protect us, to protect our loved ones.”
Below the message, he attached a link to the website of the French public health information service, where you can sign up for vaccination.
Macron did not specify what kind of vaccine he was vaccinated with.
In December 2020, the French president was ill with the coronavirus.
