Macron announced mass vaccination in France in spring 2021

French President Emmanuel Macron said that the mass vaccination against the coronavirus in the country will begin between April and June 2021, reports French Radio International.

According to Macron, citizens who are in the high-risk category — residents of nursing homes, as well as doctors over 65 years of age or with health problems, will receive the vaccine as early as 2021. Macron also said about problems with logistics — the “first generation” vaccine will need to be stored at temperatures as low as -80 degrees Celsius, which limits access to the drug. This is probably a vaccine developed by Pfizer — it takes that temperature to store it.
