Lukashenko wants Belarus to merge with Russia

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko believes that it is necessary to integrate with and fight foreign enemies together. He said this during a meeting with the heads of delegations of the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS states.

According to the BelTA portal, Lukashenko calls this one of the important arguments.

“Today, there is an obvious disregard for the principles of international law, an increase in the number of cases of the use of the so-called right of the strong. To be honest, I have recently increasingly doubted whether they are as strong as they are able to demonstrate,” the President of the Republic believes.

Lukashenko also said that the main potential of the two countries, which scares the West, is the spirit of the two friendly states. The Head of State noted that in this situation, the CIS countries should simply do what they were able to do during the Soviet Union.

“We had an integrated economy. It still remains in cooperation in many positions. It is very difficult to break us because the is tied up. Let’s calmly do this work, create a foundation, so that people feel: yes, there is a sense. Not only from the Union State, the EAEU but also from the CIS. Let’s not lose each other, “ Lukashenko said.
