The issue of buying the oil field will be discussed in more detail during the next negotiations.
Russian President Vladimir Putin, in a telephone conversation with Alexander Lukashenko, supported his idea of acquiring an oil field in the Russian Federation by Belarus. This was reported by the state agency BelTA on Wednesday, November 4.
It is indicated that Lukashenko has asked Putin about the possible acquisition of an oil field in Russia.
“Vladimir Putin supported this idea,” the message says.
It is indicated that this issue will be discussed in more detail during the next negotiations.
They also discussed the start of negotiations on the supply of hydrocarbons — oil and gas — to Belarus next year.
Let us remind you that this summer Belarus actively bought oil from the USA and Azerbaijan. At the same time, Azerbaijani oil entered Belarus through the Ukrainian port of Yuzhny.
