Jennifer Lopez has started to question whether she should marry Alex Rodriguez. And here’s why.
Jennifer Lopez and baseball star Alex Rodriguez were supposed to have a lavish wedding in Italy this summer, but the celebration had to be postponed indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic. In a new interview, the 51-year-old singer admitted that she is now seriously considering calling off the wedding and not marrying Rodriguez.

“We’re discussing it,” Lopez shared. — I mean, we’re not old anymore, we’ve both been married before. So, if we got married, what would that mean for us? There’s no rush. We were supposed to get married in June, everything was already planned. We were sad at first, and then we thought maybe we wouldn’t have a wedding at all.”
Recall that this was to be Jennifer’s fourth marriage: the singer was previously married to manager Ohani Noah, dancer Chris Judd and singer Mark Anthony, with whom she has two children — 12-year-old twins Max and Emma. As for Rodriguez, he has a marriage to Cynthia Scurtis under his belt. The athlete is raising two daughters, 16-year-old Natasha and 12-year-old Ella.

“The coronavirus pandemic hit Italy hard, and we were just about to have our wedding there,” Lopez adds. — We had to cancel everything and postpone the wedding for a few months. But by then, the situation hadn’t changed, so we had to postpone the wedding again. It was all a little disappointing. Then I thought it would happen when the time was right.”
The singer cited the example of actors Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn, who have been together for almost 40 years. “That said, they are not married and have no plans to do so. Is getting married a must? Is the game worth playing for? The fact that the wedding had to be postponed gave us time to think about it. I think marriage is still important to us, but we’re not rushing into anything and will get married when the time comes.”

Earlier, Lopez said that amid the coronavirus pandemic and related restrictions, she and her children became depressed.
