A doctor in the Italian city of Montichiari, Carlo Mosca, is accused of killing patients with the coronavirus in order to free up hospital beds. This is reported by Brescia Today.
As investigators believe, the doctor purposely injected patients with a drug that causes respiratory depression. His actions led to the deaths of two men 61 and 80 years old.
In addition, the introduction of these drugs was not recorded in the medical records of the deceased. Thus, Mosca is also suspected of document fraud.
The doctor’s motives are still unclear, but, according to the hospital nurses, he was killing patients to free up beds.
