Ireland Tightens Christmas Quarantine

In Ireland, where it was previously planned to weaken , restrictions are tightened amid the spread of the mutated . They will be valid from December 24 to January 12.

Restaurants and pubs will be closed under the new restrictions. However, small shops can remain open, as can gyms, entertainment centers, and swimming pools.

Travel to and from the country will be prohibited after 26 December.

The rules for celebrating Christmas remain unchanged and provide permission to gather in one room for members of three households until December 26.
