In the Dutch city of Maastricht, a crane has partially destroyed a railway bridge built in the XIX century.
About it informs NOS.
Crane drove into the railway bridge, as a result of which the bridge — a monument of national importance — has partially collapsed.
It is noted that the driver of the crane was not injured, but as a result of the incident, the bridge was significantly damaged. The causes of the incident are being investigated.
The railway bridge was built between 1854 and 1856 and was not used for some time.
