Often the company sent the luggage on a separate flight, which the passengers did not like
On Friday, July 23, the Spanish Supreme Court ruled that Ryanair’s baggage rules were unfair. According to these rules, a budget carrier can send bags and suitcases on another flight, which has repeatedly caused dissatisfaction among passengers.
This is reported by Reuters.
“(This leaves) it is at the discretion of the carrier to send the checked baggage on the same flight (with the passenger) or under certain and absolutely uncertain safety or operational circumstances, “ the message says.
At the same time, the court stated that during transportation there may be cases when luggage is sent to separate flights. But, they are isolated, and the position of Ryanair was too general.
It should be noted that the Supreme Court also confirmed the previous ruling, which canceled, for example, a fee of 40 euros (47 US dollars) for re-printing a boarding pass.
In addition, in 2019, he ruled that it was unfair for Ryanair to charge for hand luggage.
