Israel has lifted almost all coronavirus restrictions. Only the requirement to wear protective masks in closed rooms has been preserved, local radio Kan reports.
It is noted that from June 1, citizens of the country do not need to show a document on vaccination when visiting public events and institutions. The Ministry of Health of the Jewish state recalled the reported low incidence of COVID-19, which persists for a long time.
In December last year, mass vaccination of the population began in Israel. Over the past five months, 55 percent of the country’s population — 5.1 million people have been fully vaccinated.
