At the same time, the number of deaths from COVID-19 in the country remains high. 501 people died the day before.

Since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic in March, 2,144,660 people have fallen ill with COVID-19 in the country. There were 49,232 deaths recorded.

Earlier, the Minister of Health said that France has overcome the peak of the second wave of COVID-19. The French government called the information that the country coped with the peak of the second wave of coronavirus as “good news”. The number of infections has decreased significantly, but it is too early to relax.
