In Egypt, two passenger trains collided-details have emerged

Two passenger trains collided in Egypt, killing at least 32 people.

This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country.

The incident occurred in the city of Takata, Sohag province. According to preliminary data, one train drove into the other from behind. As a result of the collision, three railway carriage derailed.

Now it is known about 32 dead. Another 165 people were injured.

The emergency service of the province sent 49 ambulances to help. The head of the Egyptian Ministry of Health also went to the scene of the tragedy.

As the authorities said, the accident was provoked by unknown people, tearing off the stopcock.

As previously reported, in the US state of Texas, a major railway accident occurred — a train that was carrying fuel collided with a truck.
