In Austria, from April 7, it will be forbidden to visit stores without a negative test result for coronavirus. This is written by the local newspaper The Local.
Now, in order to visit hairdressers, other service organizations, and non-food stores, you must have a coronavirus test made no more than 48 hours ago. At the same time, its result must be negative.
A coronavirus test is not required to visit stores and organizations that provide “vital” services. We are talking about banks, supermarkets, pharmacies and post offices.
Earlier, the World Health Organization (WHO) reported an increase in deaths due to COVID-19 in the world. According to the organization, the number of victims of coronavirus in the world over the past week increased by 11 percent — more than 71 thousand people died. At the same time, the organization records an increase in the number of infected people for the sixth week in a row — over the past seven days, more than four million new cases of COVID-19 have been detected.
In early April, the head of the Government of Austria, Sebastian Kurz, said that the use of the Russian vaccine “Sputnik V” will benefit the country, as it will accelerate the onset of the deadline in which everyone can be vaccinated.
