By July 1, Austria will cancel almost all restrictions related to the coronavirus, except for the need to present your COVID certificate.

The first wave of quarantine easing will begin on June 10. The requirement to wear masks will be relaxed in open areas for people who have been vaccinated, tested negative, and for all those who have recently recovered from the virus.
Restaurants will be allowed to work until midnight, and up to 8 people will be allowed to gather at one table.
By July 1, bars and restaurants will not have a closing time, but drinks in the bar and dancing will be prohibited.
You will also need to present a “vaccination passport”, which indicates immunity to the virus.
The Austrian government said it preferred a gradual approach to easing the measures. “From our point of view, it makes sense to act step by step,” said Tourism Minister Elizabeth Koestinger.
Recall that the European Parliament supported the introduction of the European digital COVID-certificate, designed to ensure freedom of movement in Europe during the pandemic.
