Germany to ease entry restrictions

German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas announced that from July 1, citizens of those countries where the incidence of coronavirus does not exceed 200 cases per 100 thousand people will be able to enter the country. This is written by the German edition of Bild.

According to him, this is due to the fact that in the near future Europe will develop clear rules for interaction with vaccinated, recovered, and tested Europeans and tourists.

In Germany, 3,719,769 people were infected with the coronavirus, of which 3,568,460 recovered, and another 89,695 died. German Chancellor Angela Merkel also said that in the fall, pensioners will begin to receive additional vaccinations against coronavirus to strengthen their immunity. The Chancellor stressed that at the moment events are developing “encouraging” because the number of new infections is decreasing.
