Germany to allocate nearly €500 million to combat climate change

“All states should be able to finance the necessary investments in climate protection. Germany intends to allocate an additional almost €500 million, ” Merkel said.

She also called on the international community to fund measures to combat climate change.

Merkel also stressed that Germany will fulfill its promise and by 2020 will allocate up to €4 billion a year for climate problems.
