Brunel was on his way to Senegal, but his journey was interrupted at the Paris airport. He is now in custody. He is accused of rape and sexual harassment, including incidents with minors, as well as conspiracy and trafficking in persons for sexual exploitation.

Earlier in Canada, billionaire Peter Nygard was arrested on charges of dozens of crimes ranging from racketeering to organizing sex slavery. It is noteworthy that the crimes of the owner of the fashion house “Nygard International” were not limited to Canada: the United States of America and the Bahamas were brought against him. The billionaire denies all charges, and the FBI is looking for Nygard’s connections with other rich people on both sides of the border.
