Free testing for coronavirus for everyone will start in the Czech Republic this week, Czech Radio reports on December 14.
The country’s chief sanitary doctor Yarmila Razhova said that testing with antigenic express tests for coronavirus will begin on December 16 and will last until January 15, 2021. During this period, anyone can do one test every five days. The insurance company will pay for the testing. The authorities are ready to take up to 60 thousand people for the test every day.
Since testing does not give a guarantee, Razhova advised undergoing testing several times.
“A negative antigen test result means that you are not contagious during the test, but it does not exclude that you may become infected soon,” Razhova said.
Raghava noted that the Polish Ministry of Health has created a website where you can queue up for testing. According to her, 40% of the country’s population has already signed up there.
