France will receive more than a million doses of coronavirus vaccines by the end of December, Prime Minister Jean Castex said.
“We should receive 677,000 additional doses of vaccines around January 6-7 and 1.6 million doses in February,” the head of state added.
He previously reported that vaccinations would begin in the last week of December. In total, France has ordered 200 million doses of vaccines, that is, 100 million people will be able to be vaccinated.
In the country, 2.4 million were infected with the coronavirus, 59 thousand people died.
