France imposes curfew because of coronavirus

The French government has decided to introduce a curfew across the country from January 16. This was announced by Prime Minister Jean Castex.

The curfew will begin at 6 p.m. and end at 6 a.m.

The restriction will be imposed for at least 15 days.

Castex noted that the decision was made due to the fact that “the virus continues to spread rapidly throughout the territory.”
