The social network Facebook may introduce special measures in the event of a conflict situation related to the US presidential election. This was reported by The Wall Street Journal, citing sources.
It is noted that Facebook plans to use tools specifically designed for countries “at-risk”.
These measures include slowing down the spread of messages that are considered “viral” and lowering the message identification threshold.
In addition, Facebook will be able to moderate the user’s feed by removing certain types of content from it.
Earlier, the final televised debate between President Donald Trump and Biden took place. According to a CNN poll, the Democrat candidate won the final round of televised debates with the incumbent head of state.
The US elections will be held on November 3. They will elect the president, governors of 13 states, all members of the House of Representatives, and a third of the Senate of Congress.
