Eurozone investor optimism rises in December

In December this year, investor optimism in the Eurozone rose to the highest level since February, thanks to increased hopes for an early  vaccination, which will contribute to the economic recovery.

The index of investor sentiment in the countries of the currency bloc Sintex jumped to minus 2.7 points from the November value of minus 10 points. According to economist’s estimates, it was expected to grow only to minus 8.3. The highest level since April 2015 was reached this month by an indicator that characterizes expectations about the Economic Outlook.

Its value was fixed at 29.3 points against 15.3 points a month earlier. The indicator indicating investor attitudes to the current situation was minus 30.3 points, up from minus 32.3 points in November. Its value was the highest since March.
