European stock markets rise on positive news

Exchanges in Germany and are showing growth on Monday. The German DAX index reached a record high of 13,783.8 points, which is 1.45% higher than the value recorded at the end of the previous trading session. The French CAC 40 index climbed 0.61% to 5555.82 points.

Investors are evaluating the event related to the agreement between Brussels and London on Brexit. It significantly reduced the uncertainty about the terms of further between the EU and the UK. The British Parliament is set to ratify the trade deal on Wednesday.

A positive factor for the markets was also the announcement of the signing by Donald Trump of the draft US state budget for next year. It includes $900 billion in spending that will support the American economy.

The deal, the stimulus package in the United States, and the start of vaccinations in a number of countries give hope for a gradual recovery in the global economy.
