Elizabeth II has made an appeal to her subjects to be vaccinated against COVID-19

Queen Elizabeth II of Britain has made an appeal to her subjects to be vaccinated against a new type of coronavirus, following her example. This was reported by the PA news agency.

According to her, after vaccination, a person has a “sense of security.” She added that being vaccinated “doesn’t hurt at all” and “is completely harmless.”

“I think that for people who have never been vaccinated before, this is obviously a difficult decision, but they should think not only about themselves but also about others,” emphasized Elizabeth II.

The Queen also pointed to the successful COVID-19 vaccination campaign.

In addition, she compared the coronavirus pandemic to a plague and a battle involving the entire population of the planet. Elizabeth II called on people to unite like during the Second World War.

Earlier, the husband of Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, was hospitalized due to malaise. Prior to that, the spouses were vaccinated against coronavirus in January 2021.
