Eight police officers were injured during protests against coronavirus restrictions in London. This was reported by the police of the British capital in the Twitter account.

The protests took place on Saturday, April 24, in the Hyde Park area. It is specified that two policemen were hospitalized, but they were not seriously injured. Five people have been arrested for various offenses, including assaulting police officers and are now in custody. According to Reuters, several thousand Britons took part in the protest, demanding the immediate cancellation of all coronavirus restrictions.
