Leading economic experts of the Czech Republic, who took part in a meeting with Czech President Milos Zeman on Saturday, said about the great importance of economic diplomacy in foreign policy, including cooperation with the Russian Federation and China, the press secretary of the head of the republic Jiri Ovchacek said on Twitter.
The meeting was also attended by Czech Foreign Minister Jakub Kulhanek.
“A regular meeting of the expert group under the President of the Republic was held at the Lany Castle (the country residence of the head of the Czech Republic) on Saturday, which was also attended by Foreign Minister Jakub Kulhanek. The members of the expert group stated the great importance of economic diplomacy in foreign policy, including relations with Russia and China, “ Ovchachek wrote.
In turn, the head of the Czech Foreign Ministry said on Twitter about a number of other topics that were discussed at the meeting with the president.
“Foreign policy is a team sport, and it is impossible to achieve success in it without coordinated actions. Therefore, today we discussed with the group of experts under the President of the Republic, among other things, economic diplomacy, relations with the new Israeli government, as well as the Czech presidency of the EU Council (in the second half of 2022),” Kulganek wrote.
