From today, strict quarantine and curfews are being introduced in Cyprus.

The current quarantine in Cyprus involves the self-isolation of island residents with the ability to leave their homes no more than twice a day. You can go outside only with the permission of the authorities after sending an SMS message to a special number indicating the purpose of the exit.
A curfew is also introduced from 21:00 to 5:00. At this time, you can leave your home only in case of an emergency and in order to get to work or, conversely, return home.
Until the end of the quarantine, the following will be closed:
Department stores and shopping centers;
cinemas;
Beauty Salons;
fitness clubs;
playgrounds.
Markets, hotels, as well as construction, manufacturing, and food industries, will continue to operate.
Earlier it was reported that in France, in 15 departments in the east, from January 2, the duration of the curfew is increasing due to the accelerated spread of the coronavirus in these regions.
Recall that the government of Monaco, due to the influx of French tourists, decided to tighten quarantine measures from January 2 — only residents of the principality and persons who work in Monaco will be able to visit restaurants.
