The national project was launched in the industrial province of Zhejiang. It should help the development of green energy
China, which decided to build a solar power plant in space, has opened the country’s first green technology trading center. It is located in the eastern province of Zhejiang. The goal of the project is to accelerate the introduction of renewable energy achievements. The first batch of 30 technological achievements has already been officially sold, according to Reuters.
In the next five years, the center will manage the creation of 100 projects of innovative green technologies, 100 cluster zones for the green industry, and 300 demonstration bases of green technologies.
In total, there are plans to transform more than 2,000 green innovative technologies to stimulate the country’s environmentally oriented industry.
“The establishment of a National green Technology Trade Center can better guide innovation in this area, accelerate the transformation and creation of a market-oriented innovation system,” said Liu Min, a member of the Zhejiang Provincial Development and Reform Commission.
Recall that China is not the only Asian country that promotes large-scale projects in the green energy sector. For example, South Korea will give $5 million for renewable energy in developing countries.
