Great Britain has raised the level of the terrorist threat from “significant” to “serious” — it suggests a high probability of terrorist attacks in the country. This was reported by the BBC on Tuesday, November 3.
“The level of the terrorism threat in Great Britain has been raised from substantial to serious,” it was reported.
This measure was taken against the background of the terrorist attack in Vienna. Threat levels are assessed by the Joint Terrorism Analysis Center, part of the UK intelligence service MI5.
We will remind, on the eve in the center of Vienna there were several armed attacks simultaneously. Unidentified persons attacked a synagogue, a restaurant, and a Jewish center. As a result, five people died.
Later it became known that the suspect in the terrorist attack in Vienna was detained.
