Britain has allocated a special flight for the evacuation of dogs and cats from Afghanistan

The British government has organized a charter flight to evacuate animals from Afghanistan. This was announced on Twitter by the of the Ministry of Defense of the Kingdom.

We are talking about 200 dogs and cats that the founder of the charity, a former employee of the British Navy, Pen Farthing, wants to take out. Earlier, the military department refused to allow animals on evacuation flights for security reasons, and the authorities allocated funds for a special flight. The animals were taken to the airport accompanied by the British military.

On August 27, special forces soldiers of the radical Taliban movement entered the territory of the Kabul International Airport. The authority to ensure security in most of the airports of the Afghan capital was transferred to the Taliban.

The Taliban announced new deadlines for the evacuation of civilians from Afghanistan. The official representative of the movement noted that the imposed restrictions on evacuation relate only to the withdrawal of American troops from the territory of the country. “Yes, God willing. We have no problems with civilians, ” he said when asked by journalists whether it would be possible to leave the country in September. Mujahid recalled that the Taliban have repeatedly called on citizens not to leave Afghanistan. “We told the Americans not to take Afghan civilians with them and not to force them to leave the country,” he said.
