Britain last week had the highest number of COVID-19 deaths per capita in the world.

In the last 24 hours, 599 deaths were registered in the country, while the day before there were 671 deaths. On average over the week in Britain recorded 16.5 deaths per million people.
Thus the total number of deaths within 28 days of a positive test for coronavirus in Britain reached 89 860 people.
Also among the leaders in coronavirus deaths, last week was Portugal. In the last 24 hours in this country with a population of 10 million people died 167 people, and since the beginning of the pandemic – already more than 9 thousand.
