Bezos is no longer the richest man in the world

founder Jeff Bezos has ceased to be the richest man in the world, losing the lead in the ranking of the richest people. The corresponding changes appeared on the Forbes Real-Time list, which is updated in real-time.

Bezos’ fortune is now estimated at $192.4 billion, down 6.76 percent, or $13.9 billion, over the day. Bernard Arnault, the owner of Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH) became the leader of the richest people in the world. According to Forbes, his fortune reaches $192.9 billion.

The third place in the list goes to the head of SpaceX, CEO of  Elon Musk. His fortune rose by $2.2 billion overnight and reached $179.4 billion.

Bezos’ fortune declined because of the fall in  stock. They fell 7.56 percent to $3,300 a paper after the company reported second-quarter 2021 earnings. It appeared that Amazon missed analysts’ revenue growth forecasts for the first time in three years.

Earlier, received a record fine in Europe for violations in the processing of users’ personal data. The claims were caused by showing relevant ads to the company’s customers. It is assumed that Amazon could be penalized up to 20 million euros.
