Up to 100 pieces of equipment and more than 500 personnel will be involved in the sudden check of the combat readiness of the missile forces of the Armed Forces of Belarus. This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Defense of the country.
According to the military department, the inspection is being conducted today under the leadership of the chief of the missile troops and Artillery of the Armed Forces.
“Military units and units of the Tochka-U tactical missile systems, Polonaise, Smerch, and Uragan multiple launch rocket systems are involved in the inspection. In total, up to 100 pieces of equipment and more than 500 personnel will be involved, “ the report says.
The Defense Ministry stressed that military units and subunits will move to the firing ranges, and the inspection will be completed with control exercises on missile strikes.
Earlier, the joint Russian-Belarusian-Serbian military exercises “Slavic Brotherhood” were held in Belarus. The training of the armed forces of the three countries took place at the Brest training ground of the 38th separate airborne assault brigade of the Belarusian Armed Forces. They were led by the commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Belarus. During the maneuvers, the military worked out the implementation of tasks to combat terrorism.
