For the first time in four years, Apple has topped the rating of the most expensive brands in the world, compiled by the American consulting company Brand Finance.
This is stated in a press release issued by the company on January 26.
It is noted that Apple managed to overtake Amazon and Google for the first time since 2016 thanks to a successful diversification and set 87% of brand value.
Thus, the list of the top 10 most expensive brands is as follows (traditionally most of them are tech giants):
1. Apple — $263.4 billion.
2. Amazon — 254.2 billion.
3. Google — 191.2 billion.
4. Microsoft — 140.4 billion.
5. Samsung — 102.6 billion.
6. Walmart — 93.2 billion.
7. Facebook — 81.5 billion.
8. ICBC — 72.8 billion.
9. Verizon — 68.9 billion.
10. WeChat — 67.9 billion.
Recall that in 2020, and two years before that, the first place in the ranking of the most expensive brands in the world was Amazon.
Earlier we wrote that the founder and owner of Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk briefly topped the list of the richest people in the world. However, soon the ranking was reshuffled again, and he was overtaken by Amazon owner Jeff Bezos.
