An avalanche fell on Monday at the ski resort in Verbier, located in the canton of Valais, and covered 10 people. This was reported on the website of the Cantonal Police.
According to its information, the avalanche occurred outside the ski trail. As a result, a skier was killed and another was injured. It is noticed that the dead man was a British citizen.
Helicopters and rescuers with dogs were sent to find the people trapped under the snow. The prosecutor’s office has launched an investigation into the incident.
