The American company Johnson & Johnson (J&J) is considering the possibility of creating and subsequent bankruptcy of a subsidiary that will be transferred obligations for litigation in the case of one of its products, reports Reuters.

The company’s lawyers are currently discussing possible options for resolving this dispute with the plaintiffs ‘ lawyers. According to the agency’s sources, during these discussions, one of the representatives of J&J said that the company could go down the path of bankruptcy, which would reduce some compensation to the victims.
According to the publication, Johnson & Johnson has not yet made a final decision on a possible bankruptcy.
