Air raid sirens triggered in Israel

Air raid sirens sounded in areas bordering the Gaza Strip, according to the Israeli army.

Sirens went off in the Netiv a-Asara moshav and other localities. This happened after the announcement of an imminent cease-fire. The Israeli Home Guard ordered residents of areas bordering the Gaza Strip to remain “in their homes and in the immediate vicinity of shelters” until further notice.

Recall, the Israeli Cabinet of Ministers for security and a representative of Hamas confirmed the imminent cease-fire. The Israeli cabinet said it had unanimously accepted Egypt’s initiative for a bilateral cease-fire with Palestine, which will take effect later. A Hamas spokesman announced a “mutual and simultaneous” cease-fire at 02: 00 on Friday.
