The Finnish newspaper Satakunnan Kansa reported that a teacher sent a message to students’ parents through the school’s Wilma information system, asking them to consider the side effects of vaccinations.
The message also included a link to anti-vaccination pages, which led many parents to contact the school administration, Yle writes.
The school assured that the message completely contradicted the school policy. The teacher who sent the message wrote a letter of resignation at the very beginning of the scandal.
After the incident, the school management reported that the staff was consulted as to who had the right to disseminate information through the school’s electronic system.
