Two rockets were launched at the “green zone” in Baghdad, where foreign embassies and Iraqi state institutions are located, SHAFAQ News reports.
To destroy the missiles, an anti-aircraft system was used, which is located on the territory of the US Embassy. The anti-missile installation could not intercept the shells at a great distance, the debris fell in the Al-Mansour quarter near the diplomatic mission.
Several civilian cars and a house were damaged.
