WHO has recorded a new anti-record for coronavirus — in the world over the past day, 423 819 cases of COVID-19 were recorded. This is evidenced by statistics on the official website of the organization on Thursday, October 22.

At the same time, 6 424 inhabitants of the planet became victims of the COVID-19 disease per day. Most of all new cases of coronavirus per day were recorded in Europe — 193 831.

In total, 41,104,946 cases of coronavirus were recorded in the world, of which 1,128,325 were lethal.

On the eve of Spain became the first country in the EU to cross the threshold of a million cases of coronavirus. France has already crossed this threshold. According to the latest data, there are 1,000,369 infections in the country. More than 34 thousand patients have died.
