A ton of cocaine was hidden in a batch of bananas, and some packs were labeled with the word coronavirus.
Law enforcement officers in Montenegro found more than a ton of cocaine hidden in a batch of bananas. Moreover, on some packs was written “COVID”. This was on Friday, August 27, by the police press service.
“Montenegrin police and customs seized 1,205 packs of cocaine in a shipment of bananas totaling more than one ton,” the report said.
Police arrested two people.
The raid was conducted in Mozanovic, a suburb of the capital Podgorica.
