Dutch police seized almost three tons of cocaine and 11.3 million euros in cash at a farm near Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport.
This is reported by NOS.
A police spokesman said the drugs and money were coming from South America. The operation was carried out last Thursday, but due to the investigation and for security reasons, it was not reported. Two suspects were arrested.
According to the authorities, the cocaine is estimated at 195 million euros. Today, this is one of the largest batches that have been seized in the country.
Officers also seized six pistols, silencers, and ammunition. The authorities also seized luxury items such as expensive wines, an antique car, and even a book about the boxing legend Muhammad Ali worth 12,500 euros and measuring one meter by one meter.
Posters with the characters of the movie “The Godfather” were hung on the walls of the house. “Everything that you imagine from movies and TV series about the American world of drugs was found,” a police spokesman said.
